Services

Routine Wellness

Veterinarians recommend regular wellness exams for the same reason your physician and dentist recommend them – if you can detect a problem in its early stages, it's more likely to be treated and resolved with less expense, less difficulty and better success.

Because our pets can't tell us when they aren't feeling well, routine medical care is even more important!

Vaccinations

Keeping your pet updated on their regular vaccinations is vital in achieving a long and healthy life.

Regardless of whether your pet resides indoors or out, vaccinations are essential in ensuring your pet’s health.

Our veterinarians will evaluate your pet's lifestyle and exposure risks with you to determine which vaccines your pet would requires.

Microchipping

Keep your pet safe and ensure they will always be found by implanting a microhip. If your pet gets lost, it can be easily traced to you and allow for a safe return home!

At Columbus VetCare, we use Found Animal microchips. For $35 you can have your pet microchipped and receive FREE life-time registration!

Sick Animal/Urgent Care

Our medical teams are equipped to handle any and all illnesses, injuries, and diseases that do not require hospitalization, radiographs, and/or majory surgery.

With an onboard pharmacy, we are able to prescribe many needed medications onsite.

Diagnostic Labs

Our medical teams can provide many diagnostic tests on site and in-house, such as heartworm tests, FIV/FeLV test, Fecal Analysis, Ear cytologies, Urinalysis, etc.

We utilize Antech Diagnostic Laboratories for all of our routine and advanced bloodwork. All bloodwork results are guaranteed to be back within 24-48 hours!

Exotic Animal Care

At Columbus VetCare, it's not just raining cats and dogs. We see all species!

You read that right. We see small companion animals, small exotic animals, large/farm animals, and exotic wildlife/zoo animals!

Hospice Care and Euthanasia

We provide outpatient, in-home hospice care for pets with chronic or life-ending diseases to ensure they remain comfortable through the remainder of their time. This allows most pets to extend their life while also increasing their quality of life. This give them more time to be with their family.

When your pet's quality of life has deteriorated and you have reached the decision to euthanize, we can provide low-stress euthanasia in your home where your pet is comfortable. Our euthanasia services are available 24/7 to ensure no pet has to suffer overnight while waiting on a veterinarian to open business.
